This is a gorgeous Fukuro obi
with peacock, 'housouge'(large karabana flower) and 'karabana'(imaginary flower in China) on 'kiredori'(overlapping fabric scraps) pattern, which are woven.
Foil threads woven on the pattern make this piece more gorgeous.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Several tiny snags can be seen such as near Otaiko, although it's not mentioned on the sheet and picture.
However, they seem not to be bothering when tied.
Stains of Maegara( front patterned part) can be hidden, if you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise).
Also, a slight folding line and smudges on the line can be seen.
Please check detail photos.
It still can be tied!
Please enjoy its alluring fashion!
