This is a Tsumugi Houmongi
kimono with autumn flowers such as 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum), 'Botan'(peony), 'Kikyou'(Japanese bellflower) and 'Hagi'(Japanese bush clover) pattern, which is dyed on the greenish gray background.
The light color tone gives elegant impression.
Textile is rustic soft Tsumugi
silk with knobs of yarns.
The collar is hiro-eri(unfolded collar).
There are designer's signature and a seal on the right front panel.
Basting stitches remain, so it seems to be after cleaning.
There are noticeable patinas in places.(B)
There are relatively noticeable discoloration on the sleeve seams.(A *It is hard to recognize in the photos.)
There is noticeable discoloration on doura(lining of upper body).

Unfortunately, it may no longer in wearable condition due to those flaws.
However, it is still elegant design which we would like you to enjoy.
