This is a sophisticated Fukuro obi
with elegant 'karabana'(imaginary flower in China) on circle pattern, which is woven.
Foil threads woven on the background and pattern are elegantly shining.
Rather thick foil threads are woven on the background.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Lots of patinas can be seen on pattern and they will be noticeable when tied.
Snag of Otaiko is large and it may be a little bothering when tied.
Some more tiny snags can be seen than the figure shown. (However, they are not prominent when tied.)
Also, there is a slight folding line.
