This is a graceful Fukuro obi
with 'tabane-noshi' (tied gift wrapping paper), butterfly, 'botan' (peony) and 'ume'(Japanese plum) patterns, which are woven.
Gold and silver foil threads woven on the background and patterns are gorgeously shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
May be, this piece was tied in fancy bow. Rather prominent folding lines are remained from Tare end to Tesaki end, although the lines are indicated partway on the figure.
Both edges are frayed overall. Some parts are fluffing and some threads come out. Therefore , these parts need to be cut.
It is slightly discolored overall.
There are snags upper Otaiko.
Also, it has a stain on knot part.
Please check detail photos.
It has a sense of use, but it still can be tied!
Please enjoy its gorgeous fashion!
