This is a sophisticated Irotomesode
Kimono with a graceful 'chayatsuji' (water garden scenery) design, which is dyed.
Bishamon-Kikko(a kind of kamon with tortoise shell) pattern is woven on the background.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The collar is hiro-eri(unfolded) and Hiyoku (additional layer) is attached.
It has 5 dye kamons.
Basting stitches remain and it seems to be just after cleaning.
Patinas on sleeve seams and stains on right back shoulder are rather prominent.
Therefore, it seems not to be suitable to wear at formal occasion.
Also, slight discoloration can be seen on the outside and lining.
Please check detail photos.
*The background color may look uneven in the photos but actual color is one tone just as HTML color.
It has several flaws, but we hope you enjoy its graceful design!
