This is a chic Nagoya obi
and 'karakusa' (arabesque) pattern, which is woven on the dark brown background.
Its base color and pattern are tranquil and chic.
Textile is exquisite glossy silk and has soft touch.
'Shusu'(satin) silk is attached on the wrong side.
It has frays on both corners, throughout the edges and along the relatively prominent folding lines.
The outside has frays and thread scuffs, and the thread are cut off.
For the details, please refer to the photos and sheet.
Unfortunately, it is no longer wearable as the fabric is getting weak.
The wonderful textile could be useful for your handicraft.
