This is an antique Fukusa from Meiji period (1868-1912) with a large lobster dyed design.
Lobster is a symbol of longevity, it means about to live long until you are bent.

Textile is chirimen(crepe) silk and has textured touch.
Lining has a dyed kamon(family crest).

It is slightly discolored overall, and there are also many snags and stains. Please check detail photos.

We recommend this appealing item, which must be an artistic interior decor! Please enjoy it at your hands.
