This is an elegant Fukuro obi
with a design of 'Housouge'(imaginary Chinese flower) and decorative designs on 'Jigami'(fan shape), which is embroidered.
Drawn work(one of the technique of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through) can be seen on the design.
Fantastically shining raden'(design in mother-of-pearl inlay) foils are used on Otaiko(square bow) and Maegara( front patterned part).
Orange lining can be seen from drawn work parts.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Its length is rather long. 484cm(15'8")
'Maegara' (front patterned part) will be changed depending on the way of wrapping.
It has smudges on the edge partly.
It has a stain near Tesaki.
It has rather prominent folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
