This is a Nagoya obi
with flowers in vase motif, which is thickly embroidered colorfully against black base color.
'kiku'(chrysanthemum), kikyo 'bell flower' and 'ume' (plum blossom) are arranged.
Textile is silk, and it has soft touch.
Edges are smudged and foils on threads are coming off.
Peeling of foils are rather noticeable on Otaiko and Maegara patterns.
Frays A (third photo below the drawing image) are light to be noticed.
It has some other flaws, such as folding lines, as shown on photos.

Although it has some flaws as mentioned, it still is a very charming item to wear!
