This is an elegant Fukuro obi
with sheep, 'Genjiko' (ancient Japanese incense game) and clematis motifs, which are woven on the beautiful 'somewake'(dyed with separate colors) background.
It has woven 'Shou-chiku-bai'( pine tree, bamboo and ume blossom) and takara-zukushi (treasure assortment) pattern on the kaikiri lines(end mark line) and tesaki end.
The woven foiled threads elegantly shine.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
There is a stamp of the designer's signature on the tare end.
It has many mold on the plain part and on the wrong side, but they will be hidden when tied.

It also has slight folding lines, but not disturbing for wearing.
