This is an elegant Tsume tsuzure Nagoya obi
with a design of 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum), 'Botan'(peony) and butterfly on 'Shikishi'(square paper), which is woven.
Textile is exquisite rather thick silk and has smooth touch.
It also has "HATSURIKOU"(small gap in the boundaries of colors), which is the distinctive feature of Tsume tsuzure
The 'Maegara' (front patterned part) is on one side.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), Maegara will show.
Though not disturbing for wearing, it has folding lines.
