This is a Houmongi
kimono with tranquil Tsujigahana-style pattern in arranged 'matsukawa-hishi'(pine bark diamond) , which is dyed with shibori(tie-dye) technique.
Textile is silk, and it has soft touch.
Collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
It has light discoloration, patinas and stains, and the ones on left front panel are most prominent.
Therefore, it is unsuitable as a formal wear.(A.B)
It has some other flaws, such as dyestuff stains and slight discoloration on lining, as shown on photos.
