This is a vintage Maru obi
with lovely flower basket with 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) and 'Kaede'(maple leaf) pattern, which is dyed.
The wrong side has Japanese traditional musical instruments, 'Botan'(peony) and "Sakura"(cherry blossom) pattern.
Textile is exquisite soft silk.
There are kaikiri lines(end mark line) on the both ends.
The pattern is designed up side down to be tied with hikinuki knot style.
Although it's not mentioned on the sheet and photo,
there is a slight folding line from 'tesaki'(narrow end) through the star mark on the sheet.
The stains near by 'otaiko'(square bow) will be hidden when you tie it.
(see the 3rd photo of flaw photos)
There are some other flaws such as discoloration throughout.
For the details, please refer to the photos and sheet.
Although it has some flaws due to its age, it is still very charming design which only vintage items have.
