This is a vintage Irotomesode
Kimono with a design of sailing boat, tower and bridge, which is dyed and embroidered.
Textile is exquisite silk with woven bamboo leaf pattern and has soft touch.
The collar is bachi-eri(folded collar) and sleeve length is long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
The 'hakkake' (lower part of lining) with traditional pattern is stylish.
It has a dyed kamon(family crest) on the nape.
It is discolored by ages, and especially prominent on the creases and on the back.(A)
The stains on the right sleeve are prominent, but the others and snags are not so bothering.
It has some other flaws such as tiny holes and slight discoloration on the 'hakkake' (lower part of lining).
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
*Though the photo shows uneven color dyes, actual background color is one color.
It has flaws by ages, but we hope you enjoy this graceful design of vintage!
