This is a Sioze Nagoya obi
with noble orchid motif, which is dyed with black and white painting.
Subtle feeling of the material is expressed by delicate gradation of the ink.
Textile is sioze silk, and it has soft and comfortable smooth touch which is the feature of sioze silk.
Otaiko part is Hiyoku shitate to make it look like double layered.
The actual background color is more yellowish one than the photos.
There is a stamp of the designer's signature on otaiko(square bow) .
The stain on otaiko(square bow) will be bothering when tied.(A)
It has a few stains on 'Maegara' (front patterned part) .(B)
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), the stains will be hidden.
The stains below the otaiko(square bow) (refer to the 1st flaws photo) and tiny snags will be hidden.
It has a few tiny stains on otaiko(square bow), but they won't be bothering when tied.
There are several other flaws.
