This is a Houmongi
kimono with a design of flowers such as lily and 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) on 'Kasumi'(mist), which is dyed on the staid colored background.
Kaga-Yuzen style worm-eaten holes are added to the main leaf designs.
The base is dyed with three-dimensional 'shibori'(tie-dye) technique.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The collar is hiro-eri(unfolded collar).
*The background color may look uneven in the photos but actual color is one tone just as HTML color.
Basting stitches remain and it seems to be just after cleaning.
Overall discoloration is not so disturbing, but rather prominent patinas (B,C) can be seen in places.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Although it has a sense of age, it's still wearable enough with very good condition if you are familiar with secondhand items.
Please enjoy its graceful fashion!
