This is a gorgeous Fukuro obi
with temple in Kyoto, flowers and phoenix
pattern, which is woven.
Sparkling foil threads used in the pattern makes this obi suitable for a formal usage.
Textile is silk, and it has soft touch.
The weaving flaw on the 'Maegara'(front patterned part) (indicated as fray in the figure) is small, so not disturbing when tied.
It has some other flaws such as rather prominent folding lines.
