This is an elegant Fukuro obi
with iris, 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) and 'ume'(Japanese plum) on diagonal stripe pattern, which are woven.
Foil threads woven on the background and pattern are gorgeously shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
(Lining is not added inside.)
Several snags can be seen on Otaiko, although this part is not indicated on the figure. (However, they seem not to be so prominent.)
Silver foil threads are a little peeled off or beige color threads can be seen on edges by frays. However, they seem not to be so bothering when tied.
Folding lines are remained from the part of the figure to Tesaki end.
May be, this piece was tied in fancy bow. It has folding lines also Tare end.
There are a couple of other flaws.
Please check detail photos.
It has flaws like this, but we hope you enjoy tying this alluring piece!
Please enjoy its elegant fashion!
