This is a gorgeous Hon Furisode
for a bride from Showa period (1926- 1989) with auspicious 'shou-chiku-bai'( pine tree, bamboo and ume blossom), flying cranes and other vibrant motifs, which is dyed boldly.
Gorgeous Kinkoma embroidery and gold touch are added for extra elegant look.
Textile is silk, and it has soft touch.
Collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
Hiyoku (additional layer) is attached.
Dyestuff stains near collar and stains on lining are prominent.
It has some other flaws, such as slight patinas and discoloration on lining, as shown on photos.
Please see photos for details.
*It has rather strong musty smell.
Because of the flaws mentioned, it is no longer suitable for wearing.
We still would like you to enjoy this gorgeous design!
