This is an elegant Fukuro obi
with a design of such as oshidori (mandarin duck), 'Kikyo'(Chinese bellflower) and 'Hagi'(bush clover) on 'Shikishi'(square paper) pattern, which is woven.
Sparkling gold threads used makes this obi suitable for a formal usage.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The snag on 'Maegara' (front patterned part) (A) will appear when tied, and a little bothering.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), the snag will be hidden.
It has some other flaws such as relatively prominent folding lines.
