This is a woodblock printed book of Benpuku (court-dress) which was published Meiji 39(1908) by woodblock specialist Unsoudou in Kyoto.
Benpuku is a special formal costumes worn by noble people. There are 3 books as a set. This is a volume 1.
There are 31 page, and 17 pages are fully colored(A few are not colored).
It starts with introduction and index.
The first image is an crown of Emperor Higashiyama.
The following pages have design and patterns which were used on his majesty's costumes and accessories.
The different kinds of animals were lively depicted with vivid colors.
PLEASE enjoy all the details.

The covers are worn out due to its age.
There are some patinas and stains.
However, all the images are in very good condition.
