This is an elegant Fukuro obi
with flowers such as 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum), 'Tsubaki'(camellia) and 'Botan'(peony) in circle pattern on lattice, which is dyed on the shinny background.
The fine 'Raden'(design in mother-of-pearl inlay) works are applied on the pattern which mysteriously change their color in trick of light.
Textile is exquisite soft silk.
There are two different 'maegara' (front patterned part) on each side.
The dyestuff on upper 'otaiko'(square bow) could be hidden when you tie it.
There is a very small dyestuff on the 'maegara' (front patterned part) which will be shown when you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy. It is not that noticeable.
There are some other flaws such as relatively prominent folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and sheet.
It is still in good condition.
Please enjoy wearing the gorgeous design at special events.
