This is a sophisticated Fukuro obi
with phoenix, 'shokkou'(octagon and rectangle) 'housouge'(large karabana flower) and 'karabana'(imaginary flower in China) on 'kiredori'(overlapping fabric scraps) pattern, which are woven.
Its gorgeous, yet sophisticated design with glittering gold foil threads is suitable to tie at formal occasions.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Folding lines are slight and not prominent.
(Actually, folding lines are remained from Tesaki to between star and circle marks of the figure.)
Molds can be seen on the overall wrong side and blank part of right side actually.
Please check detail photos.
However, it still can be tied!
Please enjoy this glamorous design perfect for celebratory occasions!
*It has a bit of mold smell.
