This is an impressive Fukuro obi
by famous Nishijin weaver called Hakuryoen Ohba.
Its vibrant combination of colors used on the pattern are distinctive feature of the OHBA obi.
Mountain range, Matsu (pine tree), 'hagi'(bush clover) and 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) are woven dynamically.
Gold foil threads included in the pattern twinkles gently.
Textile is silk, and it has soft touch.
It has slight folding lines as shown on photos, but overall it is in very good condition.
