This is a chic Oshima Tsumugi
kimono with a design of 'shou-chiku-bai' (auspicious three motifs - pine tree, bamboo and ume blossom), which is dyed with gold glazes.
Background is elaborately woven with double ikat technique.
Textile is Tsumugi
silk and has soft smooth touch, which is the feature of Oshima Tsumugi
The collar is hiro-eri(unfolded).
This piece is designed by Mitsumasa Wada, one of the most famous Kinsai (gold glaze) Yuzen
There are his stamp and the name of client on right front panel.
Basting stitches remain and it seems to be just after cleaning.
There is not prominent flaw and it is in excellent condition!
