This is a Houmongi
kimono with glamorous Tsujigahana
style pattern, which is dyed with shibori(tie-dye) technique.
Textile is glossy silk, and it has soft touch.
Tiny 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) and Hishi (diamond shape) are woven on fabric.
Collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
It has patinas on left front panel, but they should blend in with the pattern.
Wear on collar, smudges and discoloration are light and not disturbing.
Please see photos for details.
Although it seems well worn, it still is a very charming garment to wear even on a formal occasion.
