This is a vintage Irotomesode
Kimono with shell, 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) and 'tachibana'(mandarin orange) motifs, which are dyed.
Main parts are embroidered.
Textile is exquisite silk with woven arabesque pattern and has soft touch.
Bodice and sleeve length is long,which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
There is no kamon.
Stains which can be seen in places are slight and discoloration is not so prominent.
Wear is prominent partly, but smudges are slight.
Also, stitches of sleeve seams of the lining are a little coming loose.

However, it is in very good condition for its old age.
