This is a casual opened Tsume-Tsuzure Nagoya obi
with a design of 'ume'(Japanese plum), 'matsu'(pine tree) and bird on mountain, which is woven.
Its colorful design looks lovely on the chic backgrond.
Gold and silver foil threads woven on the design are alluringly shining.
Textile is thick silk and has rather crisp touch.
The obi has one side patterned at the front part when it is tied.
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), Maegara will show.
One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed.
Slight discoloration can be seen from Tare end to Otaiko part.
It has a couple of largish stains on Tesaki. (A)
There are blackish small stains on Tare end.
Also, it has small snags and a little prominent folding lines.
Please check detail photos.
