This is a vintage Hon Furisode
for a bride.
It has dynamic waves and large 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) moitfs, which is dyed with shibori(tie-dye) technique and embroidery.
Kinkoma embroidery appeals elegantly and it glows among subtle shibori pattern.
Textile is silk, and it has soft touch.
Collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
It have five kamon(family crest) dyed out.
It has slight discoloration, smudge and wear on collar due to its old age.
Please see photos for details.
Flaws by snags are seen on center seam on the back of Doura 'upper lining'. (sorry no photos)
Due to its old age, it has some flaws, but it is still a very charming vintage piece to wear.
