This is a Oshima Tsumugi
kimono with elegant seasonal flowers, such as 'botan'(peony) and 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) pattern, which is woven with doublt ikat technique.
Textile is silk, and it has soft touch.
Collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
It has slight discoloration (E) and fine patinas(B), but not disturbing for wearing.
Wear on color (C) is rather noticeable.
Stains on left front panel are not disturbing.
Stains D on right sleeve and on the back are prominent.
It has some other flaws, such as discoloration on lining and smudges, as shown on photos.
Please see photos for details.
There is a blackish streaky stain on right front panel at about 87cm(33.9in) from bottom, but it may not show depending on height.
Since it has some noticeable flaws, it may be unsuitable for wearing, however, it still is a very charming kimono for its lovely design.
