This is a Fukuro obi
with colorful mountain range design, which is woven on the grayish ivory background with sukui technique, a kind of tsuzure weaving technique.
Its vibrant design on the staid colored background is eye-catching.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Lining is not added inside.
Stains (A) will be hidden when tied.(refer to the 1st flaw photo)
Discoloration near the 'Maegara'(front patterned part) will show when tied, and noticeable.
Stains on the Tare end are slight and tiny, so not almost noticeable.
It has other flaws such as folding lines and smudges along the lines.
