This is a Tsumugi Nagoya obi
with a 'nadeshiko'(pink) motif, which is dyed on the vibrant background.
Gold glazes are added on the motif partly.
Textile is Tsumugi
silk and has textured and nubby touch.
Slight discoloration can be seen such as white-colored parts of Otaiko and Maegara( front patterned part).
It has a blackish stain near Nadeshiko leaf on Otaiko, although it's not mentioned on the sheet and picture. (However, it is tiny and seems not to be so bothering.)
There are a couple of stains on the wrong side of Maegara( front patterned part). However, they are small and seems not to be prominent.
There are other flaws.
Please check detail photos.
Also, the fabric of the 'tare'(wide end) might be shrunk.
So that, a little bit of the fabric of the wrong side was pulled and came out to the right side.
However, we hope you enjoy tying this piece!
Please enjoy its polished fashion!
