This is a vintage Nagoya obi
with a design of royal cart and 'kiku'(chrysanthemum), which is finely embroidered on the 'kasa-matsu'(spread branches pine tree) background.
Textile is glossy Shusu silk and has soft touch.
The obi has one side patterned at the front part when it is tied.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), Maegara will show.
Foils of gold foil threads are peeled off such as designed parts of Otaiko.
Rather prominent discoloration can be seen on royal cart of Otaiko. (These flaws are not mentioned on the sheet and pictures.)
A stain above Otaiko can be hidden when tied.
There are several other flaws such as frays of both corners of Tare end and Tesaki and a tiny snag (*It doesn't have photo).
Please check detail photos.
However, it still can be tied as a vintage Obi!
Please enjoy its retro design of vintage!
