This is a vintage Maru obi
with 'Sasa'(bamboo leaves) pattern, which is woven.
With its chic color hue, it shows sedate atmosphere.
Gold foil threads woven in the pattern are elegantly shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Stitches of Kaikiri line are coming loose a little.
It has frays on the corners of Tare end and both overall edge.
Slight discoloration can be seen.
It has a rather noticeable snag on the Otaiko(square bow).
It has stains like Sumi ink on the Kaikiri line, but they will be hidden when tied.
It has smudges on the edges.
It has slight tears, but they may be hidden when tied.
It has other flaws such as slight folding line.
