This is a vintage Maru obi
with 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) on 'shippou-tsunagi'(jointed four circles) pattern, which is woven.
Its staid colors have chic atmosphere.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Several parts of Kaikiri line and edges are coming loose.
Foils of foil threads are peeled off by frays. (the 5th flaw photo)
There are several other flaws such as a folding line and tiny snags (the 4th flaw photo).
