This is a Nagoya obi
with a 'tabane-noshi' (tied gift wrapping paper) motif, which is dyed with Shibori (tie-dye) technique.
Textile is glossy Rinzu silk with honmon(arranged sayagata pattern) pattern and has soft touch.
From Tare to horizontal stripe crease (above Otaiko) is noticeably discolored.
Especially, discolorations of creases above and bottom Otaiko are prominent. However, these parts can be hidden when tied.
Stains of Otaiko can be hidden when tied.
Actually, there is not folding line, although it is indicated on the figure.
It has a couple of other flaws.
Please check detail photos.
It can't be tied, because of prominent discoloration.
However, we hope you enjoy this refined design!
