This is a Nagoya obi
with wave, 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) and 'sakura'(cherry blossom) patterns, which are woven.
Gold foil threads woven on the patterns are elegantly shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Snags on the 'otaiko'(square bow) are hardly prominent.
It has smudges on both edges overall.
There is a fray on one side of Maegara( front patterned part).
However, if you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), it can be hidden.
There is a stain on the wrong side.
Also, it has rather prominent folding lines.
Please check detail photos.
However, it still can be tied!
Please enjoy its graceful fashion!
