This is an opened Nagoya obi
with a design of 'peony' (botan) and 'fuji' (wisteria) on flower vase, which is woven.
The vibrant design emerges out glamorously against the pale background.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Some holes of basting stitches can be seen, although it's not mentioned on the sheet and picture.
However, they are small like pinhole and not prominent when tied.
Smudges can be seen on creases of star and circle marks of the figure. Smudge of circle mark can be seen on Maegara( front patterned part) when tied and it may be a little bothering.
Stains are slight and can be hidden when tied.
However, snags of Otaiko are large and will be a little disturbing.
Please check detail photos.
However, we hope you enjoy this enchanting piece!
