This is an elegant Houmongi
Kimono with the back of a princess of Heian period (794-1185) and four seasons flowers such as 'Botan'(peony), 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) and "Fuji" (wisteria) motifs, which are dyed.
The fine embroidery works are applied on the pattern which give elegant brilliance to the black hair of princess and flower.
The 'somewake'(dyed in various colors) background and small butterflies are also elegant.
Textile is exquisite soft silk.
The collar is hiro-eri(unfolded collar).
Basting stitches remain, so it seems to be after cleaning.
There are relatively noticeable signs of wear on the collar(A), wrinkles from wearing around waist. (There are wrinkles on the lining, too.)
There is slight discoloration.(B)
For the details, please refer to the photos and sheet.
Although it's not mentioned on the sheet, there is a 3"(8cm) long dotted line shape slight stain on the lining of left collar which is located 1.2'(35cm) from the left end of collar.¼£¼£It will be hidden when you wear it.
*The background color may seem irregular on photos, but it is actually one tone of color as seen in HTML code*
Although it has some flaws, if you don't mind those minor flaws, it is still in good condition to wear.
