This is a vintage Nagoya obi
with butterfly and 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) pattern, which is woven.
Its staid colors have chic atmosphere.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
This item seems to be remake one from Maru Obi.
Discoloration is slight and not so bothering. (the 3rd flaw photo)
Stitches of Kaikiri line are coming loose, but this part can be hidden when tied. (A and the 4th flaw photo)
It is frayed on overall edges and fabric becomes weak.
There are a couple of other flaws such as a slight stain. (the 6th flaw photo).
Please check detail photos.
It can't be tied, because fabric becomes weak.
However, please enjoy this retro design of vintage as a handicraft material!
