This is a Nagoya obi
with a design of 'seigaiha'(wave) and flower, which is dyed with Shibori technique on the yellow green base color.
Its refreshing color is charming.
Textile is glossy silk with woven honmon(arranged sayagata pattern) and has soft touch.
It is slightly discolored overall.
There are folding lines.
It has wrinkles overall. Maybe, this is because of Shibori Obi.
There is discoloration on crease. It is about 30cm(11.8in) above from Tare end. However, it can be hidden if it is neatly tied. (A)
It has smudges and patinas on both edges of Otaiko, but not so prominent.
Snags near Maegara( front patterned part) will come just knot.
Also, there are stains on Tesaki.
Please check detail photos.
However, we hope you enjoy tying this piece!
