This is a Fukuro obi
with 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) and 'susuki'(Japanese silver grass) pattern, which is woven with 'karaori' (woven thickly in chinese style) technique.
Gold foil threads woven on the background are gorgeously shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has textured touch.
Snags of Tare end and Tesaki can be cut without problems.
There are other couple of flaws such as folding lines.

However, there is not serious damage for tying.
