kimono, most formal kimono for a married woman.
This piece is dyed by Tokio Hata, one of the most famous dyers(Living National Treasures of Japan) and his grandson Toki.
It has elegant design of oshidori (mandarin duck) among 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum), 'Ume' (plum blossom) and kaede (maple leaf), which is dyed.
It has fused design of traditional and innovated one.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Hiyoku (additional layer) is attached with the logo of 'TOKIO et TOKI'.
It has 5 dyed kamon(family crest).
It has basting stitches and seems just been cleaned.
It has quite slight discoloration, but not bothering.
