This is a casual Tsume-Tsuzure Nagoya obi
with a design of 'peony' (botan) and 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) on hearts, which is woven.
Gold and silver foil threads woven on the background and design are elegantly shining.
Textile is rather thick silk and has rather crisp touch.
It is sewn as "matsuba-shitate" (open Nagoya obi
with tightly folded end of belt part).
The obi has one side patterned at the front part when it is tied. When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), Maegara will show.
Guarantee label remains. and it is in the wooden box.
One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed.
There is not folding lines and it seems to be untied one.
Several more small stains can be seen on bodice of the right side than the figure shown.
A stain can be hidden when tied.
Please check detail photos.
There is not serious damage for tying.
