This is an attractive Houmongi
kimono with zestful design of fetival, which is dyed and embroidered.
It seems to be 'yamaboko' (elegant decorated float) at Gion Matsuri
Gold threads and drawn work(one of the technique of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through) are added.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has soft touch.
The lapel is hiro-eri (wide lapel) and it is hand-sewn.
It has light brown patinas and not so prominent(A).
It also has tiny brown patinas on the collar lining.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
It's still wearable enough in very good condition.
Please enjoy its attractive design.
