This is a Tsumugi Nagoya obi
with a character meaning 'Happiness' and two children motifs, which are dyed.
It has a character meaning 'child' on 'Maegara' (front patterned part) , and we can read 'Sachiko'(a woman's name) with its two characters.
(It is also written as 'Sachiko' on one side of 'Maegara'.)
Gold glazing is added on the main part.
Textile is Tsumugi
silk, and it has nubby touch with rusty atmosphere.
The patinas on the tare end will be bothering when tied.
It has some other flaws such as loosen stitches and folding lines. (Vertical lines indicate on the sheet)
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Although it has some flaws as mentioned, it still is a very charming item to wear!
Please enjoy its graceful design.
