This is a Houmongi
kimono with a design of seashore scenery, which is dyed.
Bridge, aboshi(hanging fishing net to dry), 'kasa-matsu'(spread branches pine tree), 'kaede'(maple leaf), 'ume'(Japanese plum) and gentian are dyed.
Embroideries can be seen not only on left front panel but also parts of chest.
Textile is exquisite silk with woven lattice pattern and has soft touch.
The lapel is hiro-eri(unfolded).
It has a dye kamon.
Slight discoloration can be seen and both side seams and both sleeve seams are relatively noticeable.
Light brown stains can be seen as figure shown. (C)
It has wear and smudges.
Also, lining has slight discoloration and a stain.
Please check detail photos.
However, if discoloration does not bother you, the Kimono is still wearable at formal occasions.
