This is a Fukuro obi
with vibrant wave pattern, which is woven.
The vibrant pattern emerges out dynamically against the black background.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Snags on Tare end may be a little bothering when tied.
Also, snags of Maegara( front patterned part) will be noticeable when tied, although it doesn't have photo.
However, if you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), they can be hidden.
Same kind of stains as wrong side can be seen on blank part (between square mark and Tesaki), although it is not indicated on the figure. (2 parts)
Also, there are rather prominent folding lines.
