This is a modern Fukuro obi
with 'mukai-dori'(pair birds) and 'kiri'(paulownia) arabesque on diamond pattern, which are woven.
Foil threads woven on the background and pattern are gorgeously shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
(Lining is not added inside.)
Stain of Otaiko will be rather noticeable when tied.
Folding lines are slightly upward, not in the center.
(Maegara( front patterned part) seems to have been made a little widely.)
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), the lines will show.
Therefore, please start wrapping from the other side.
Folding lines are remained between star and circle marks of the figure.
Please check detail photos.
However, we hope you enjoy tying this piece!
