This is a Houmongi
Kimono by Chiso, one of the most famous kimono makers in Kyoto.
It has 'Ume'(Plum blossoms) branch design, which is dyed on the 'Somewake'(dyed with separate design) background.
Embroidery and gold glazing are added on the main parts of the design.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The collar is hiro-eri(unfolded collar).
It has an embroidery kamon.
Basting stitches remain and it seems to be just after cleaning.
Besides stains like patina on such as the left front panel, it has discoloration on the outside and the inside. (They are not noticeable so much.)
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
If you don't mind those flaws, it's still wearable enough on formal occasions.
Please enjoy its tasteful design!
